Spring 2026

Project Duration, Seven Weeks

Group Project, Three Team Members

About

I worked alongside a team to redesign outdoor workout spaces by extending the existing PROTO brand into a new product-service system for an emerging socio-economic context. Through weekly reviews and a final presentation, we rapidly developed and refined concepts using 2D ideation and clear visual communication. The goal was to strategically position PROTO within the growing sharing economy while maintaining alignment with its existing Visual Brand Language. Our process also included addressing a real-world project complication and producing technical documentation and market positioning.

PROTO identified an opportunity to enter the sharing economy within the next 2–5 years through a scalable product line supported by its current manufacturing capabilities. Our public-access fitness concept focused on essential amenities such as vending machines, storage cubbies, and hydration stations, alongside safe, easy-to-use equipment like calisthenics and resistance band systems. The design incorporated a central open workout space for bodyweight and mat-based training, as well as a perimeter walking track to support light cardio within a controlled environment.
