Tick Tock Teaser Animation

Spring 2025
Project Duration: Three Weeks
Project Type: Individual
I 3D modeled a clock, animating it to create a short teaser trailer for the product. I used Fusion 360 to 3Dmodel the main components of the clock and Adobe Illustrator to design the face of the clock, including the white numbers and dots. I brought my model into KeyShot to color, texturize and render my animation. I transferred these renderings into Adobe Premier, setting instrumental music I derived from FreeSounds.org.

I brainstormed ideas for the animation, as well as the form and appearance of the clock.

The reference board I created to determine the type and color of clock I aimed to use, as well as the intended motion I was aiming for.

The clock I 3D modeled based off of my reference page.

The quick storyboard I made to reflect the movements of motion I decided to implement.
Reflection
I was challenged at the beginning of this project, as it was my first time using an animation software. I learned renders take a long time, and the approach of the different methods will determine the time and quality of the animation. The sound present in the animation can affect the appearance of the product. In the last shot of my animation, the design is very noisy on the main, green base of my clock.
